Please note that each shaker has three holes, offering a perfect balance. Stoneware, fired at high temperatures, is nonporous and scratch-resistant, providing durability with a more opaque finish compared to porcelain.
At DankoHandmade, we take pride in firing our stoneware pottery twice for optimal quality. With water absorption of less than 1 percent, these shakers are safe for dishwasher use even with intensive programs.
Perfect for kitchen or home decor, these salt shakers are glazed with food-safe materials. Handmade in Bulgaria, Europe, they make ideal birthday, Christmas, or everyday gifts. Our sustainable production uses local clay and energy-saving kilns, supporting a small business with over 20 years of experience.
If you are looking for a lovely, unique, and useful present, this saltshaker is just for you. You will surely impress your friends with its unique style and functionality.

The Glaze Firing Process:
(Explore our shop for other stages of pottery making)
During the glaze firing, the pottery undergoes its second firing phase. After meticulously applying glazes to the bisqueware and allowing them to dry, the pieces are delicately loaded into the kiln. The firing temperature, ranging from 2020 F (1100 C) to 2350 F (1280 C), is carefully monitored.
To prevent any unwanted fusion, pots are strategically positioned to avoid touching, ensuring the individuality of each piece. The kiln is gradually heated to the precise temperature needed to mature the clay and glazes. Subsequently, it undergoes a slow cooling process.
The kiln is opened and the pieces are unloaded only after it has completely cooled. This marks the concluding phase for the majority of our pottery creations, resulting in unique, high-quality pieces that reflect the craftsmanship and dedication invested in every stage of the process.

I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
